Testing

The rank system is a way to represent the students achievement and progression in the way of martial arts. This also allows instructors to gauge what the student should know and instruct accordingly. Tests reflect cumulative knowledge, a student is expected to know everything that he had to learn to reach the level he is currently at, plus the new information to progress. Students are required to break a board with progressively more difficult kicks. Every student is capable of doing this when the correct technique is applied. Students have the option to test every three months. There is no pressure to test; it is an option.
